PHASE 1 TEACHING PRACTICE REFLECTION : WEEK 6 (28/10/24- 1/11/24)



The sixth week of teaching practice marked a significant milestone, as I successfully completed teaching Part 1 of the text. To assess students' understanding, I administered an achievement test and a diagnostic test. These evaluations provided valuable insights into my students' strengths and weaknesses.

Analyzing the test results helped me identify areas where students struggled, revealing gaps in their understanding. This newfound awareness enables me to refine my teaching strategies, tailor instruction to meet individual needs, and create targeted interventions to support students' growth. On November 1, we celebrated Kerala Piravi day.

This experience reinforced the importance of continuous assessment and evaluation in teaching, highlighting the need to adjust instruction to ensure students receive optimal support."

From 10th December to 15 th December 2024, we conducted our five days community living camp. The theme of the communityliving camp samadharshana was centered around the idea of building a sense of community and social responsibility among the participants. The camp aimed to foster a sense of connection, cooperation, and mutual understanding among the students, and to encourage them to think critically about social issues and to take action to make a positive impact in their communities. PHASE 2 TEACHING PRACTICE REFLECTION :WEEK 1(25/11/2024- 29/11/24)

As I reflect on the first week of my second phase teaching practice, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and confidence. I didn't feel tense or nervous, which was a pleasant surprise, and instead, I was able to focus on delivering my lessons and connecting with my students. I've enjoyed getting to know them and tailoring my teaching to meet their diverse needs, and I feel like I've made a positive start in building a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. One of the key takeaways from this week has been the importance of effective lesson planning and delivery. I've learned that with careful planning and preparation, I can create engaging and relevant lessons that cater to the needs of all my students. I've also appreciated the opportunity to observe and learn from my mentor teacher, who has provided valuable guidance and feedback that has helped me to refine my teaching practice. As I reflect on the last week of my teaching practice, I am filled with a mix of emotions - happiness, pride, and a tinge of sadness. I successfully completed 30 days of my second phase teaching practice, and it's hard to believe that this journey has come to an end. I am incredibly proud of the progress my students have made, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have played a role in their learning and growth. But as I prepared to bid farewell to my children and the school, I couldn't help but feel a little sad. I had grown attached to my students, and the thought of leaving them behind was difficult to accept. However, the feedback and love I received from my students made the moment even more special. They shared their thoughts and feelings about my teaching, and it was heartwarming to know that I had made a positive impact on their lives.
