PHASE 2 TEACHING PRACTICE REFLECTION :WEEK 1(25/11/2024- 29/11/24)
As I reflect on the first week of my second phase teaching practice, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and confidence. I didn't feel tense or nervous, which was a pleasant surprise, and instead, I was able to focus on delivering my lessons and connecting with my students. I've enjoyed getting to know them and tailoring my teaching to meet their diverse needs, and I feel like I've made a positive start in building a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
One of the key takeaways from this week has been the importance of effective lesson planning and delivery. I've learned that with careful planning and preparation, I can create engaging and relevant lessons that cater to the needs of all my students. I've also appreciated the opportunity to observe and learn from my mentor teacher, who has provided valuable guidance and feedback that has helped me to refine my teaching practice. As I move forward, I plan to continue building on my strengths, seeking feedback from my students and mentor teachers, and reflecting regularly on my experiences to identify areas for growth and improvement. Overall, I'm feeling positive and enthusiastic about the weeks ahead, and I'm excited to see how my students will grow and develop over time.
