PHASE 1 TEACHING PRACTICE REFLECTION : WEEK 4 (14/10/24- 18/10/24)

The fourth week of teaching practice was a significant milestone, as I introduced Class 9C to a new chapter, 'Waiting for Rain' by Anita Nair. Witnessing students engage with the text and share their insights was truly rewarding. Moreover, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to train students for the drama competition in the sub-district Kalotsavam. This experience not only helped me develop my teaching skills but also allowed me to connect with students on a different level, fostering teamwork and creativity.

Also on November 14 world Diabetics day was celebrated by conducting assembly where doctors from Aroma hospital gave awareness on diabetics. They also conducted free camp to test diabetics. Then as a part of the B.Ed. curriculum, my group organized a school-based programme on World Students' Day (October 15). The event featured a poster-making competition, quiz, and presentations, which encouraged student participation and creativity. Overall, this week was a rich learning experience that helped me grow both as a teacher and an educator.

From 10th December to 15 th December 2024, we conducted our five days community living camp. The theme of the communityliving camp samadharshana was centered around the idea of building a sense of community and social responsibility among the participants. The camp aimed to foster a sense of connection, cooperation, and mutual understanding among the students, and to encourage them to think critically about social issues and to take action to make a positive impact in their communities. PHASE 2 TEACHING PRACTICE REFLECTION :WEEK 1(25/11/2024- 29/11/24)

As I reflect on the first week of my second phase teaching practice, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and confidence. I didn't feel tense or nervous, which was a pleasant surprise, and instead, I was able to focus on delivering my lessons and connecting with my students. I've enjoyed getting to know them and tailoring my teaching to meet their diverse needs, and I feel like I've made a positive start in building a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. One of the key takeaways from this week has been the importance of effective lesson planning and delivery. I've learned that with careful planning and preparation, I can create engaging and relevant lessons that cater to the needs of all my students. I've also appreciated the opportunity to observe and learn from my mentor teacher, who has provided valuable guidance and feedback that has helped me to refine my teaching practice. PHASE 2 TEACHING PRACTICE REFLECTION: WEEK 6 ( 20/1/25-24/1/25)

As I reflect on the last week of my teaching practice, I am filled with a mix of emotions - happiness, pride, and a tinge of sadness. I successfully completed 30 days of my second phase teaching practice, and it's hard to believe that this journey has come to an end. I am incredibly proud of the progress my students have made, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have played a role in their learning and growth. But as I prepared to bid farewell to my children and the school, I couldn't help but feel a little sad. I had grown attached to my students, and the thought of leaving them behind was difficult to accept. However, the feedback and love I received from my students made the moment even more special. They shared their thoughts and feelings about my teaching, and it was heartwarming to know that I had made a positive impact on their lives.
